1 August 2007 - 21:40He actually dresses like that? – Clark and Michael

Clark Duke and Michael Cera recently finished up their 10-episode web series, aptly title “Clark and Michael”. Fans of sort of absurd, yet sort of deadpan comedy take note. Keep an eye out for cameos from Andy Richter, Tim & Eric, Patton Oswalt and others. David Cross appears as a driving instructor in one episode, and if THAT doesn’t sell you on it, then maybe Clark and Michael isn’t for you. The episodes are fairly short and immensely entertaining, so I encourage everyone to watch all of the episodes several times.

update: they added advertising! great!

27 July 2007 - 21:24Kickin’ Rad Parkade Ordinance Sign of the Week

This sign is posted in the parkade at the building I work in. It prohibits doing sick stunts on your motorbike while in the parking area.

That or it means “no ghost riding the whip on company property”.

5 July 2007 - 23:42Mac vs. PC – On gaming

The Parallels people have put out some “Mac vs. PC” spoof ads to promote their virtualization software. I’m not sure I understand the sense in touting the ability to run Windows to sell a Mac.
“Windows is no good, so why not use a Mac….. to run Windows?”
The commercials reminded me of a little comic strip I created last year (yeah, I was doing it before it was cool :p)

Apple’s current ad campaign is irritating, bring back the lovely Ms. Ellen Feiss!

26 December 2006 - 20:43The Something Awful YouTube Wish List

SA’s Front Page update for today had me laughing very hard. It’s a list of goon-submitted “Youtube Wishlists”, ideas for videos they’d like to see on Youtube. Most of them don’t seem so unlikely, which makes it even funnier. The article also contains a link to the best ghost riding video I’ve ever seen, and probably ever will see.
