16 December 2007 - 0:24The Snowman on Youtube
Winter hasn’t even started yet, and we’ve already had a couple pretty good snow storms here in Nanaimo. Everyone’s got their fingers crossed for a white Christmas this year, so it’s a good time to watch Raymond Briggs’ 1982 animated classic, “The Snowman”. You can view the film’s entire 27-minute length on Youtube. The video must have been uploaded before Youtube established their 10-minute limit on videos. Whether you’re up for a bit of cheery nostalgia, or if you’re seeing it for the first time, or if you just like watching full movies in abhorrent Youtube quality, The Snowman is worth a watch at least once a year. Also available on Youtube is David Bowie’s introduction, which I guess can be found on certain editions of the film.
